Gluten allergy can become a severe case when it causes swelling of the stomach. As a result, the body will not be able to absorb nutrients from foods. Therefore, other body organs are badly affected, like the brain, liver, bones, and more. Unfortunately, it may take years before one can find out they have it.

Some foods are naturally free from gluten, like vegetables, fruits, seafood, lean meats, fish, and nuts. Fortunately, there are still lots of food choices for you. However, if you want to cook something with a starch like bread or pasta, you may use rice, corn, or potato flour. Also, eating fresh foods is the best choice for you.
