      Dark eye circles are a common problem for both men and women. However, women are the most bothered population than men.       It happens because the skin surrounding the eyes is thin and very sensitive. That is why skin experts point out the importance of using natural remedies when it comes to dark eye circles. The following is a long list of natural remedies that are safe to use around your eye area.

      1. Tea Bags

      Leftover tea bags are perfect for dark circles removals, especially when it’s cold. Hence, you may prefer that it is cold as it can help treat swelling. Also, its effectiveness increases when the teabag is cold. Therefore, it is good to use green tea instead of an ordinary tea bag. 

      If you want to use it, soak it in water and place it inside the fridge for at least an hour. Put the teabag on your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes. 

      2. Potato or Cucumber

      These two popular ingredients are one of the best dark circles remedies at home. Hence, it may also cure puffiness around the eyes. So, it is a good remedy as it can target two problems. 

      Slice the potato or cucumber that is enough to cover your eyes. Also, another way is to extract the juice. Use a cotton ball or pad to apply the juice around your eyes. Hence, it is good to leave it for 1 to 3 minutes and rinse with cold water. 

      3. Cold Milk

      Milk is a popular natural cleanser that you can use for the eyes. Therefore, it is for those with very sensitive skin. Also, the best option is to use fresh milk. All you need to do is to cool it inside the fridge and soak the cotton. You can keep it on your eyes for a while and wash it off with cold water. Hence, repeat the process if necessary, for the best result. 

      4. Use Added Pillow

      Sleep position can also add to the risk of having dark circles. Therefore, it is good to use an extra pillow under your head while sleeping. It can stop the fluid from going under the eyes. As a result, you can free yourself from the puffy eye when you woke up in the morning. It is an effective dark circles remedy at home.

      5. Aloe Vera

      It is a plant that is very popular for its moisturizing effect. That is why it is also used as a cure for dark circles. Hence, you may choose a fresh plant and its gel. However, it is essential to do a skin test first before using it. Some people may be allergic to it. Also, rinse it quickly in case you feel uncomfortable after applying it. Additionally, there are available over-the-counter topical aloe gels that you can use. 

      6. Lemon and Almond Oil

      One of the most tried and tested dark circles under eye remedy is the combination of almond oil and lemon juice. Therefore, use one teaspoon of the oil and three to four drops of the juice. Mix it and apply it to your eye area. Massage it gently around the eyes and let it sit for 2 to 3 minutes. 

      7. Rosewater

      This treatment is used even during the old times. Hence, its effect is refreshing to the eyes and is good for all types of skin. Also, it can cure other skin issues aside of dark eye circles. Aside from that, it is a good astringent and is effective as a toner. One can use a cotton pad or ball and soak and leave it for 15 minutes or until absorbed by the skin. 

      8. Tomatoes

      This ingredient for dark circles under eye remedy is natural bleach. Therefore, it has a natural whitening effect on the skin. Hence, it is not only for the eye but also for the whole face. You may use tomato juice extract that you can buy in the market or make your own. 

      Furthermore, aside from natural ingredients, one can also do meditation or yoga to relieve stress. Also, a healthy lifestyle with physical activities can help you look gorgeous.
