You can buy a reputable over the counter products with aloe vera gel with added or use fresh aloe vera plant. Fresh aloe gel from its leaves can offer quick relief by applying it directly to the skin. Aloe vera gel soothes eczema and it can serve as an antibacterial for wound healing. If you are suffering from dry and cracked skin, then antibacterial and antimicrobial properties of aloe vera can prevent infections. Before using aloe vera make sure to check for skin sensitivity by applying a small amount of gel on your skin.
2. Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is best known as an effective home remedy for different kinds of skin conditions. According to the National Eczema Association (NEA), apple cider vinegar is one of the most effective home remedies for eczema. There is no proven research that apple cider vinegar can help to cure eczema symptoms. However, there are lots of good reviews that you can read online about the benefits of apple cider vinegar to the skin. It can balance the skin acidity level and fight bacteria. You can either use apple cider in a wet towel or put some during bath tie and soak your body. It is not advisable to apply it directly to the skin, so you need to dilute it with water.
3. Colloidal Oatmeal
This possible eczema cure has effective skin-healing properties. Colloidal oatmeal is made from boiled and ground oats. It is commonly known as Avena sativa and it has anti-inflammatory properties. It is also a rich source of antioxidants that can improve skin dryness, roughness, scaling, and itch intensity. You can add powdered colloidal oatmeal in a warm bath and soak. It also available online as cream and lotions, but if you are allergic to oat it is not advisable to use it.
4. Bleach in the Bath

One can easily make bleach in the bath. Simply add half a cup of bleach in the bathtub and soak your body for 5-10 minutes. You need to thoroughly rinse the body with warm water. Lastly, gently dry it using a clean soft towel. Using lukewarm water is advisable to prevent the skin from drying. Virgin coconut oil can help people with dry skin and eczema because it can protect the skin by improving the skin barrier. Use cold-pressed virgin coconut oil directly on the skin after bathing. You need to apply it before going to bed to moisturize the skin overnight.
